Sustainable. Futuristic. Resilient.

A Future-Ready City – Sustainable, Self-Reliant, and Built to Endure

Hong Kong Convention is thoughtfully designed to be environmentally conscious and self-sustaining. From low-carbon infrastructure and integrated public transport to renewable energy systems and energy-efficient architecture, every element supports long-term ecological balance. Advanced waste and water recycling systems further strengthen its resilience. This is a city created to serve today’s needs — without compromising the resources of tomorrow.

Smartly Structured Roads for Seamless Mobility

Hong Kong Convention features a meticulously planned, multi-tier road network designed to ensure smooth traffic flow across the entire development. At the core lies a 60-meter-wide arterial loop — the city’s primary transit artery. This is seamlessly supported by 45-meter sub-arterial roads, 30-meter primary distributor routes, 18-meter secondary distributor roads, and access streets ranging from 13.5 to 9 meters wide. Together, this hierarchy enables efficient movement, easy access, and a connected urban experience.

Intra-City MRTS – Fast, Green, and Connected

Navigate Hong Kong Convention effortlessly with a cutting-edge 6 km-long Intra-City Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS), built for speed, sustainability, and convenience. Designed to enhance last-mile connectivity, the system features six strategically placed stations — ensuring that nearly 80% of all residential and commercial zones are within a 5-minute walk. An integrated interchange connects seamlessly with the Gurugram–Manesar–Panchgaon MRTS, linking Hong Kong Convention to the broader metropolitan region.

Smart Water Management – Sustainable. Circular. Resilient.

Hong Kong Convention ensures 24×7 access to clean, high-pressure water that meets stringent quality standards. Water is sourced reliably from the GWS Canal near Basai (approx. 4.5 km) and IMT Manesar (approx. 11 km), while the city prioritizes complete water sustainability through advanced recycling and conservation systems.

With 100% wastewater treated using tertiary treatment technologies, recycled water is efficiently repurposed for non-potable and non-contact uses. A fully integrated sewerage network and zero liquid discharge policy make Hong Kong Convention a model for water-positive urban design.

At the heart of this ecosystem is a serene freshwater lake — engineered as both a vital aqua sponge for storage and a vibrant cultural landmark that enhances the city’s social and environmental fabric.

Water Management

Reliable Power. Renewable Future.

Hong Kong Convention guarantees uninterrupted, high-capacity power through dedicated substations integrated with advanced SCADA systems — ensuring seamless load management and meeting peak demand of up to 646 MVA.

Championing a sustainable energy vision, the city is designed to run on predominantly renewable sources, including large-scale solar farms and solar-powered street lighting. Every building in Hong Kong Convention is envisioned as a certified green structure, reinforcing the commitment to a cleaner, energy-efficient future.

Digital Backbone for Smart, Transparent Governance

Hong Kong Convention is built on a robust ICT infrastructure that powers intelligent, responsive, and citizen-centric urban management. Designed to streamline operations and ensure real-time governance, the system enables seamless service delivery, data-driven decision-making, and enhanced transparency.

Key components include city-wide surveillance, intelligent traffic and parking management, SCADA-controlled utilities, adaptive smart lighting, environmental monitoring networks, multi-service digital kiosks, and a centralized Integrated Command and Control Center — all working together to create a secure, efficient, and truly smart city.

Tunnels

Underground Utility Corridors – Smart, Organized, Future-Ready

To support the vision of a world-class, future-ready city, Hong Kong Convention is equipped with Common Utility Tunnels — an advanced underground network that houses critical infrastructure such as potable and recycled water pipelines, electrical and telecom lines, solid waste conveyance (AWCS), and firefighting systems.

This organized approach not only streamlines maintenance and minimizes disruptions, but also enables seamless upgrades and future provisioning — without the need to dig up roads or disrupt urban life.

Intelligent Waste Management – Clean by Design

Hong Kong Convention adopts a future-forward, 3R-based waste management system — Reduce, Reuse, Recycle — built on global best practices in public health, engineering, sustainability, and urban aesthetics.

An automated vacuum waste collection system efficiently handles all types of waste — commercial, medical, horticultural, and municipal. Waste is transported at high speed through underground pneumatic tubes to centralized collection stations, where it is compacted and securely sealed for further processing or disposal.

This smart, underground system ensures a cleaner, odor-free environment while drastically reducing traffic congestion, manual handling, and environmental impact.
